^^^Actually no. There aren’t enough teams in this state to justify three separate rankings. Did you know that the Open division only has 10 teams in total?

And get this, St. Louis I-AA is ranked below nine of the 10 Open division teams in the poll. So yes, St. Louis I-AA is getting votes in this poll, but no, they are not being looked at as better than any of the Open teams (unless you’re from Waianae).

High School is to prepare you for college. The ILH Football is the best college-prep in the Hawaiian Islands.Want to be good? Play Punahou, Kamehemeha, St. Louis three times in two months. Everyone should be aware of this, and potential ball-players should chose wisely. Kahuku and Mililani may lead the OIA but the level of competition and coaching is not the same. The slogan should be: play in the ILH is you are good; otherwise play in the OIA. Honestly!

@??? The only people calling St. Louis I-AA a JV team are some of the commenters who write things on here. St. Louis I-AA is officially a varsity D2 team playing an official ILH varsity D2 schedule and therefore eligible to receive votes.

The fact that they are freshmen and sophomores and beating teams with seniors and juniors is a whole different story.

It’s an embarrassment to these Varsity players & coaches to let STL II (JV) receive any Top 10 votes..
If they can receive votes, STOP calling them JV.
Like one of the other bloggers said; you might as well let teams from the Big Boys & JPS league be ranked too.
