why did the roster need to be shaved down to 50? unfortunate for those hard working players. this is the same for all schools not just kahuku, but being involved, even though getting minimal playing time is positive experience for the boys, keeps them in a pro-social activity through november, coaches to monitor academic successes, positively affects the student body. just a win-win for everyone. I thought they held more last year too. any thoughts?

Ackritecuzz Soljay is my son and he will be just fine under the watchful eye of coach Tata and Hao, we will slowly bring him up to par and hopefully peaking by his jr year although it would be nice to have a breakout year his soph season. Since u are also a RR u know that we play as a team and our goal is to win the title for the whole community and not to pad individual stats like how u see happening at other schools with prolific offenses. Sip a cup and relax and enjoy the RR train cause we are on a mission.

Ackrite is the same person as the other name and I wont mention it. Everyone here in Laie knows this is SOl Jays dad Luao peters. everything that you post about what people are saying at work is rubbish. dont see you posting on how the other article says that your so called son is not a qb but just someone that is handing off the ball but could run too. if you would just stay out of your media jokes your so called son would probably do better. great kid but you are just a bad influence cause you put pressure on him but you have no clue. so when you read this dont reply just onosai and faalogo and watch soljay do his thing and get better everyday. i dont think we have the kind of pie you need to eat here on the north shore???? FF69, didn’t Kahuku play Mililani the night before then drove out to Punahou early the next morning. I would guess there is going to be some fatigue that you wouldn’t normally see since there is generally a week between games. Anywho, Go Big Red.

Just a scrimmage guys! Kahuku used all of just 5 plays! Lol… And they cut to get down to I think 53! Watch this Farrington game on Friday I’m sure they will score about 70 points and Farrington is gonna have 0… Good season to all!

You’re right, I’m not a coach. I did attend the one scrimmage last year against Mililani and the first scrimmage against Mililani this year. In my non-coaching opinion, comparing the scrimmages, we looked better this year on both sides of the ball. Tbh, I was more concerned about our team after last year’s scrimmage, than this year’s.

I saw them last year in scrimmages and they were FAR more impressive than they are this year. And last year they had a completely new coaching staff and schemes. This is year 2 which means the kids should understand and run it better.

And everyone knows that scrimmages are important in all high school sports. When I talked to some of my buddies who coach there they were a little disappointed. And if it was only a scrimmage, why did they cut so many boys right after the game? I believe they cut about 16 kids.

Someone please correct me on my number if I am inaccurate. So, using the scrimmage as a big measuring tool for what the coaches expect, it seems that their coaching staff put quite an emphasis on just a “SCRIMMAGE” as you call it.

I guess that is why the coaches coach and win titles and you blog Aitorahi.
