The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. There is nothing wrong with Iolani playing D1. There is nothing to complain about regarding it. Stop complaining and accept that Iolani playing D1 is the right thing.

Actually Jimmy Clausen, Pac-5 has won state 2 Div 1 Hawaii state football championships. Same as Punahou. Iolani has won 1.

Bauto, Iolani could appeal but it would’ve been a losing battle. Besides, they’ve got as much business playing Pac-Five or St. Francis as UH does playing the Colts or Seahawks.

Iolani has a choice? Did the ILH recently pass a rule that the D1 teams who use an exemption (Iolani – Football, Mid Pacific – boys and girls soccer) and win 2 ILH D2 titles in a row in that sport must declare D1 for the next year? Does anyone know?
