@U_crazy_sum_beach What’s biased about wanting 3 separate rankings for 3 separate divisions? Sounds like common sense to me!!! Like I told the other “Numb Nut” if Waialua or Kalani go undefeated should they be ranked higher then a 1 loss STL or 1 loss Kahuku?

??? sorry I didn’t answer your question about Waialua going undefeated being ranked above STL or Big Red…my answer is heck no. This year, however, Waipahu and Iolani played a common opponent in Waianae (albeit pre-season and with Waianae depleted) so I can understand the excitement but definitely the Open Division is the heavy weight division. As much as I root for Floyd and Manny I know they wouldn’t stand a chance against Leon Spinks or Big Buster.

I didn’t think that I was arguing the rankings per se but you’re smart and you know that in any given year, there will be teams who are in a lower division that might be better than teams that are in a higher division and the SA poll seems to be their view of the top 10 teams. Last year Iolani was featured by SA in their top 10 pre-season poll…then Iolani got hammered by Hilo and we never saw the Raiders mentioned in the same breath. This is the same with every pre-season or early season poll….its much different than the end of the season poll which is the one that really matters but I see your point about divisional rankings which would probably be helpful too.

Broken spoke Every dog has its day (Waipahu, Iolani) but rankings should still be by divisions! So You’re telling me if Waialua goes undefeated In DII they should get ranked ahead of a one loss STL or a one loss Kahuku

Awrite: “Last year state title game, umpire Michael Goshima, St Louis class of 69.” He sure missed a lot of holding penalties by the St Louis OL. That would be considered “conflict of interest” by using an alumni ref especially for a state championship game and it surely showed when he was consistently talking to the St Louis players. Hopefully things like that (using alumni refs) for a title game doesn’t happen again.
