??? agree that Look’s record includes a lot of wins at Div II but is it really 80%? On the other hand, query as to whether we (as a community of sports enthusiast should reward coaches within their own division for their success in a program that features such high academic standards and plays season after season with undersized student/athletes?

Got to teach student athletes that they need to take care of their schooling all year round and not just during the season so they can play. That’s a much more valuable lesson for them to learn. High school coaches need to take ownership and make sure their student athletes are successful academically during the off season as well.

It sort of sad to hear… “have our full crew back”. Is that acceptable? Isn’t anyone concerned that a lot of the student athletes are academically below par by the end of the year?

I wonder how many student athletes at Iolani did not play because of academics? ….half the crew too?

Iolani’s win over Waipahu is impressive, especially their undersized team. To Da House, where you stay? Just wondering if you remember my guarantee last week. Waipahu is a good team and they were missing a lot of key players but Iolani is rolling with their young players.
