Got word that some high school games in Utah have been cancelled already.

What happens if a piece of metal falls on a player or coach at the “Rust Bucket?”

Just draw up a waver that all parties sign (players, coaches, parents, fans, staff) saying that they will take the risk involved in order to play and will not file a lawsuit or blame the DOE, State, or HSSTA in the even of infection/illness/death. Of course lawyers will find a way around and find some “pukas” with such a document.

Nuff already. There is a very simple solution to this situation. Lets get back to precovid days already. If you choose not to be vaccinated that is your choice as a vaccine is available to you and so easy to obtain. If you put yourself at risk because you choose not to get vaccinated then you suffer the consequences if you do get infected; possibly get hospitalized for weeks, put on a ventilator and accrue huge medical bills or possibly die. Just like everything in life, CHOiCES: eg. the shingles vaccine; the shingles vaccine is out there for everyone but if you choose not to receive it and get shingles, good luck with that because you had every opportunity to avoid getting shingles. If you engage in sex without protection and suffer and ruin your entire future because you did not use protection, then that is on you(trust me I know that one).
Like one famous psychologist stated years ago, “life is full of choices, if you make bad choices bad things will eventually catch up with you, if you make good choices there is less chance of that happening.”

Looks like the OIA is going 0-2 for in seasons last year and this year against the ILH.

Dear OIA parents. Stay woke… we closed for so much less last year. You have a pipe dream thinking there will be football this year. After your kids are vaccinated they will say it’s still not safe we need to “postpone” you can still get infected after vaccinating. Then, those that don’t vaccinate have to test. Well, if they test positive what happens? Do we have to cancel the game because ans infected person may have coughed on a Jersey of a vaccinated kid? Too dangerous.
