Cal and Stanford are both great academic institutions, and a degree from either school will serve Nate well in the future. I’ve visited both schools and found the campus vibe to be quite different. Just my opinion, but I think that there’s more of a family feeling at Cal than Stanford.

Private schools “recruit” as does some powerhouse public schools. If they are provided housing in the ” financial aid” , good for them. Why not use the system to their benefit, Herbig gets a choice between two powerhouse academic universities. If he had stayed in Kauai maybe not.

Menehune, a co-worker of mine told me that one. No lie. He didn’t know their names, only that they were St Louis football players living in his apartment close to Kalaepohaku.. He said one was from Waianae. That would be the same time period when James Sunia and Faaolo Alovao were playing for the Crusaders. They were from Waianae. Maybe it was them.

I truly believe that people make up things because they know they can get away with it. You say 4 kids shared one apartment to go to St . Louis? i dare you to name them. I can also say that 10 Kahuku kids live in the same bedroom because they are poor and cannot afford a million dollar house.

wow, the guy is HUGE. Already NFL size. When I played in the 1970s, maybe 1 offensive lineman was over 200 lbs.
Another St Louis recruit. You gotta wonder where he lived while attending St Louis. I knew one guy who told me he lived in an apartment in Kaimuki where also had 4 St Louis football players in the same apartment from far away also living. The alumni had to be picking up the rent.
