I have never seen a DB in High School Football change or take over a game like Marcus Hee! What a performance, I must have watched that pick 6 interception 5x, and it still amazing every time I watch it. UH, you better get this kid, before a mainland university grabs him!!!! Good job to the Roosevelt Team! Amazing boys, good luck in the States.

Congratulations Riders! You guys accomplished a feat that no past Roosevelt team has accomplished in a very long time. Work hard, play hard though I may no longer live on the island, I send my best wishes to you guys from California. Win the state tournament and prove the naysayers wrong! These kids exceeded any and all expectations set for them by everyone on the outside. The team isn’t one of the bigger ones in size, but maybe one of the biggest in heart. So much appreciation and respect for the coaches who trusted the players. They also worked on one of the invisible things such as building trust and communication amongst the players. There were a lot of after practice huddled to hash out problems, and they always positively reinforced the good things at the same time. This has helped to change much of the negative comments and sentiments I’ve heard in the past. Congratulations Riders! Pride of Papakolea

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE GAME!! As they say DEFENSE wins Championships and Roosevelt did just that! Give that boy Marcus Hee the Game ball ! He did an amazing job 12 tackles, forced fumble, and with that spectacular intercept & razzle dazzle run into the end zone. So very proud of this team and credit the coaches and everyone who contributed to the success of Roosevelts historic run to the OIA Division 2 Championship!
