You look like you are new to the game. Let me try and explain it to you. 88 and all his merry men (87, toomeke, anywaays) are very sensitive. They have to interject Kahuku Football into every conversation to make sure Kahuku Football stays relevant.

88 is worried that if they ever stop being really good at football, then there is nothing left for them. They are not good at academics. Many of the kids are on free and reduced lunch which speaks of poverty. Many do not go on to college.

Do you know last month he mentioned all the football players who went on to college but what he didn’t know was that the amount was so low that he was actually strengthening my argument for me. See, the amount of football players who get a Division 1 football scholarship is something really low like less than 0.5%. When you factor in the NFL it’s lower than 0.1%.

Alas, those are the numbers that 88 thinks help his cause.

It’s very simple from the clinical perspective. 88 has a syndrome called the “Al Bundy Disease.” That is when you peak by 18, only care about High School Football, and end up living a life full of regret.

So please excuse 88’s behavior. He won’t change and please don’t expect him to change.

***And for the record, 88 did say “everyone” but don’t expect him to apologize or say he was wrong. He has the Al Bundy Disease and it’s killing him inside.

Why try and steal focus away from what the article is about? Nick has made GREAT accomplishments this year and people trying to minimize them or take the spotlight away is sad. Go and praise Kahuku somewhere else, this article is about NICK KAPULE. CONGRATULATIONS NICK, you definitely deserve a career beyond high school!

You know what? I did read the title of this article. So why are you posting something that’s unrelated? I love how you just insert Red Raider football into the conversation. Look we all get it. You love your team so much you can’t help but talk all the time about how great they are. Maybe that’s why some people are tired of hearing about Kahuku. Just give credit to Kapule and be happy for him.

Not everyone looks good UNTIL they play Kahuku, BG looked good WHILE they played Kahuku.

Waianae, Kapolei, Mililani, Farrington, Campbell, Kailua etc… would kill Kamehameha this year.

No other team from the OIA has kept it close with us on a consistent basis so I dont take 99boiz post as an insult but rather a challenge for our ILH athletes to work harder and rise to the challenge.
