-stagger the times of participation. maybe make three groups at three different times.
– no high school or community coaches running the combine.
– less focus on character, more on technique and execution and athletic ability of players
– cut down the drills.
– and lastly, come up with a system to have kids line up and get even amount of reps, no cutting the line.

I appreciate the people who put the combine together very much. these are critiques to possibly enhance the combine. i firmly believe that if you want to stick out you have to do something that catches the eyes of the scouts. if you dont thats on you, even if there seems to be preferential treatment or more love given to other players. these critiques are based on the product that is being offered should equal the amount of $ being spent by families, that is all.

that being said, The Rim is the man, prophet man. lol.

Like I said in a earlier post, save your money unless your child is one of the chosen ones. If not, lucky your kid gets one rep.

I was just surprised that no Kahuku kids won any awards… Well besides the Oline kid who really is prolly the best center in the state, but I heard he’s from Kaiser…

Just seems weird that Kahuku has the best athletes almost every year and brings home OIA titles about every year n State titles about every other year yet nobody got an award?!!! That’s why it’s not good to have local coaches do these kinds of camps and especially when Chad Ikei n Rich Miano have a relationship with most of the kids that won awards…

I mean those kids are good but just seems fishy to me… I hope less kids attend next year because this camp seems geared towards certain kids, instead of kids actually getting a decent look! Couple of people I talked to said the local coaches running the camp were taking reps away from other kids and giving more reps to their kids… Unreal! Lol!
