Went to Iolani from ’67-’69. No offense to Coach Look, but those were the Glory Days of Iolani. When Elroy Chong was hurting in the the game against McKinley and the whole sideline heard him tell Hamada, “put me in coach”… then made that miracle win happen. Wow. We all sat there in the pouring rain yelling our hearts out. Sadowski, Flores, Chong… great memories.

I remember when Wendell Look played football at Iolani. Tough as nails, never backed down from anyone. Dr Jekell and Mr Hyde personality. Absolute animal on the playing field, perfect gentleman off the field.
I was lucky to have known Eddie Hamada. As fine a human being who ever lived. Go exhume his body, extract his DNA and offer it as a quality sperm donor.
