Saama Pama is a prime example of a talented student-athlete (not athlete-student) taking care of business in the classroom, being a good citizen, and earning a free college education from UW. No doubt that parental upbringing and listening to his teachers and coaches also played a role with his success. Too many naysayers tell kids “No can” but “Can” with hard work, focus, and perseverance.
