Make good sense and that’s one main reason Coach Tata wants to play the number one best and not the second or ninth next to the best whereas whatever the outcome is he’ll a have a measuring gauge to build and prepare future Red Raiders; yes definitely they’ll be a rematch or a game with the next number one team representing the USA but really it’s all about academics whereas teaching objectives and learning objective in sync like all the same with academics game assignments like many hours of bookwork and visual aids and that’s not all whereas next on the field performing endless motor skill techniques like repetitiously put into use like never ending hard dedicated effort until it turns into “proficiency”. Whatever you all think, most all coaches want to try the best especially Kahuku but I’ve been saying from the first time this news about new format was announced whereas for the Red Raiders old or new format doesn’t change their game strategy or their game assignments and yet again for all of you, like one more time a reminder that Kahuku Red Raiders are still the State of Hawaii High School Football defending champions and so be it until proven otherwise; so cut out all this trashing about, ” it should be or what was or what if’s”, whereas it’s all about the game final score, that spells out how Kahuku High School academic/athletic assignments strives on. These comments got to be some of the most stupidest things Ive ever read. Just saying and Pay To Play, stick to ping pong cuz this is competitive high school sports were talking about. Blame the OIA or HHSA for moving Radford up to a place they dont belong!

Was this an exhibition game or a competition? If I were Radford, and Kahuku started fumbling on purpose or missing tackles on purpose…I would take offense and feel as though they were mocking me. Radford continued to fight…and they are better for it. There wasnt much more Kahuku could have done without disrespecting Radford. Cuz if someone challenged me to a race and started slowing down so I could catch up….then to hell with it. If I win, I wanna win knowing my opponent gave their all and if I lose, I wanna know I lost giving it my all to an opponent who gave theirs.

Comparing Prep Bowl Era to current State Championship era is like comparing Super Bowl era to pre-Super Bowl era.

I’m not a Kahuku fan, but I don’t blame them fo playing their ball game, if the other team is unprepared and absolutely cannot stop them, it’s on them. Kahuku had 8 different people rush the ball, and 3, THREE pass attempts!! They weren’t trying to be classless and run the score up. Something with Waianae and McKinley last year; at a certain point the other team has to rise to the occasion.

@Pay to Play: so tel me what Kahuku is supposed to do after the first quarter? If anything it was up to the Radford coaches to make a decision about the remainder of the game. However, that puts them in a situation: do we forfeit and essentially tell our boys to give up? Or continue to battle hoping they will learn something out of it? If Kahuku had its JV in and Radford couldn’t stop or score then it’s on them.
