Congrats. As a football fan, you guys played incredible last night.

@ Jimmy H, lol, I don’t know about throwing every 20 times, but under Livai with Funaki running the O, we had really good times passing and running. We have the tools on O to do the same this year. D needs alot of tweaking. Somebody on D needs to step up and take control.

Back at work boys. Win or lose, we got your back! RRFL!

Many people dogged on Reggie as the HC, but he knew if Kahuku stuck to the basics they’d win. It was never sexy, but it was successful. You are not beating STL or Millz in a shootout so make it a dogfight.

There’s 3 oia spots to the ship, you’ll definitely be there. A lot of key players were out due to injuries, let your kids heal folks! They still got alot of hammers on this redraider squad.
Congratulations Trojans!! Keep on the grind and you’ll get there!! Go Trojans!!

Kahuku is getting too complex for its own good. It always thrived on a dominant run game, which is a double-edged sword. Carvalho probably wants to balance the offense because he thinks that’s the only way to beat St. Louis at the moment, but Kahuku doesn’t have Maiava anymore. If he seriously wants to change tradition he’s gonna see a bunch of losses before it actually becomes feasible, but I doubt the community will let that go.

Their offense controlled the tempo, and was very meticulous in their execution. Gabriel is undoubtedly the best QB in the state. I hoped Kahuku would run ball more, but after being down early, they probably figured they’d have to air it out. Why don’t they use their Tight End, doesn’t he have an offer from BYU? How is that possible? Is BYU recruiting him as a punter?

All this talk about recruiting, the ILH advantage, transfers, enough. Kahuku got beat badly tonight. It was brutal watching them being dominated by the second best team in the state. Sure key players are out due to injuries, but like one of Kahuku’s previous coach use to say, “Next man up.” However, it looks like this year Kahuku doesn’t have a lot of depth. It was apparent tonight. There was a significant drop in level of play. Offensively Kahuku seems to be trying out different schemes that are unfamiliar to them. Like UH, they got to go back to basics and what they are comfortable with, running & pounding the ball.

But all the enthusiasm from early in the season is diminished. Normally, I would say guarantee we win the next 3 games, but after tonight, not so confident. Really strange feeling. The talent is there to make a strong run, but not much faith in the coaches right now. The Trojans did a really good job of exposing every weakness.

On to the next.
