he 1st half of the game was not a fluke for Kapolei, it was the adjustments Millani coaches made during the half that was the difference.

This is part of what makes a successful team, Mr. Alpha. Cannot sit and cry about injuries.

@chickengrease. . . Let me reiterate, Kapolei is probably the most physical team they’ve played against to this point. Mililani is obviously not healthy (Olomua, Malepeai). The 1st half of the game was not a fluke for Kapolei, it was the adjustments Millani coaches made during the half that was the difference. If Mililani wants to make a run at States their going to need both Olomua and Malepeai at full strength running the ball. St. Louis, Punahou, Kahuku will be a whole lot faster and physical for Gabriel to run a clinic on. Mililani IS my dark horse to win states, but all the pieces need to fall in place. . .

Would rather know how to effectively handle that physicality (read: Gabriel ALONE can run a clinic not just for Kapolei but for ALL high schools, public and private) than just "having" it, like a Kapolei apparently has (and that's it).

What was with Kapolei's coaches wearing their last names on the back of their . . . well what the heck kind of shirt WAS that? When the very Hurricane players don't have their own last name emblazoned on the back of their jerseys? Grow up Kapolei coaches. Understand who's doing the real work here. And will someone PLEASE look into whether Hernandez should be allowed to do play-by-play for other high school games. Heck, bet he'd love to do the same for Hurricane games while on the sideline!
