Descartes and ??? I don’t think anyone should single out any kid/player regardless of their gender or skill level. These players put in a ton of work during the off season and throughout the season and despite all of the perfectionists out there, they will make mistakes. Lets give these players the respect for even having the fortitude for playing football which is very demanding. Perhaps more general and positive comments in the future starting with me too. Some of my comments are based on frustration related to my poorly predicted wagers. Sorry!

I just disagreed with Unity=Strengths’ seemingly over praising Iolani’s Oline when I see the center snapping the ball over the QB’s head 5 times a game that kill precious drives or the fact that the Oline doesn’t block after initial contact. Please watch for yourself before condemning my observations but you guys are right in the sense that they are pretty disciplined and seem to play through the pain as well.

There offensive line may whiff on plays but no doubt do they put up a great fight and playable holes for the running back. They seem to have an uncommon and ruthless discipline and mindset to be able to go up against guys twice there size.

Hey @Backwards K, you obviously don’t consider the fact that iolani is the most undersized team in the state. Competing quite well, there offensive line is about 180 lbs average where teams like Leilehua and Damien average about 270lbs linemen. I would think before I’d type next time.

Oline….are you kidding. Iolani’s Oline is deplorable their tackles whiff on every play and the center might as well be playing for the defense with his chronic bad snaps. #1 and #21 are the only players who make their offense go.
