Just reading your statement, I realize you are Clueless to how the advantages of ILH vs OIA transfers & Recruiting applies. Let me simplify this:
OIA: Recruiting “illegal”
Transfers must prove they are district residents or have a district exception. one year transfers limited production because of learning a new system, new teammates, new coaches, new school.

ILH Recruiting “LEGAL”
Recruit a HS kid from another school waste of time unless they are stud sophomores or freshmen like Te’o, DeLaura, Iosefa, Slade-Matautia, etc…
ILH Best scenario & Common practice: Recruit stud kid in JR High playing Big Boys or Pop Warner, get him into STL/PUN hold him back a grade or two and initiate him into the style they play. BOOM; now he has 5-6 years years to develop in that system with the same coaches, teammates, facilities, etc…
I can go on and on. But you’re ALL in DENIAL!!!

I didnt watch the game but based on these comments, im glad that more people are seeing how #15 plays. Played like that the entire season. At some point, thats not football, its just being dirty. I hope that he learns that he can be an even better player without that stuff.

Good job Crusaders. Hawaii should be proud to have one of the top teams in the nation. Florida probably has more leagues than we have teams.

Yup OVERRATED. Do I have to repeat my reasons? I think last years STL squad would’ve been a better team to attend that bowl game; D line would’ve done damage.

808rep STA got humbled quickly? You know they won right? And please don’t make the excuse that the break was too long, if STA had the break and STL had one week to prepare and lost, you woulda used the excuse that STA had more time to prepare and heal up.

CrusaderDad yes, level of Hawaii HS football is quite low as of late. Individually there’s lots of talent, but team wise, competition is weak. Only competition STL had was Punahou, who almost lost to Kahuku and Mililani. And both of those programs are shadows of what they used to be, especially Kahuku. That power run game of STA reminded me of what Kahuku used to be. Mililani not even close to the machine they used to be when they had Milton and Malepeai.

??? What you talking about. ILH has transfer rules. A junior would never transfer to an ILH school because he couldn’t play his senior year. Mililani on the other hand has guys coming in very year from every school at every grade. Now who has the advantage. STL has better coaching so the better ones tend to stay there. More guys leave STL for Mililani every year vs transfers in STL between sophomores and seniors.

That’s the same s*** as STL? They have a WAY bigger pool of players than EVERY Hawaii team except Punahou. That explains it ALL!
