Hats off to both teams. Unfortunately for the Mililani Trojans poor management via a LACK of PLAYER ROTATION lost you the game. It was obvious that Mililani’s first string (defense & offense) was broken and beaten by mid 3rd quarter, yet Coach York refused to play any other team members. TEAM- that’s what wins championships!! You have 50+ hardworking and dedicated players, why would you insist on playing the same football players despite fatigue and costly mistakes? What gives? Kahuku on the other hand did a great job at player rotations allowing them to build momentum and eventually take the win!- CONGRATS on a great game & SMART COACHING!!! Hopefully Mililani has learned this hard lesson and will make better choices against St. Louis. GREAT JOB to ALL our student athletes!! Don’t let poor decisions and choices by some adults discourage you from dedication, working hard and perseverance. and kudos to all our parents (island wide) who continue to support our students. CONGRATS Kahuku on winning the CHAMPIONSHIP! God Bless us all =)
