Dang! He feels sad because we cheer for our Red Raiders. I’m sorry our simple lives upset you so much. That our life of family faith and football is sooooo upsetting.

You can call it recruiting. You can call it geographically exceptions or whatever.

It is foolish to think that only Mililani allows GE’s. Kahuku has done that too in the past. Only an ignorant person would think Kahuku has never had a player on GE suit up for them.

It doesn’t matter if you got 1, 5, 10, or 50.

It’s really foolish to point at others when we should all worry about ourselves and point at ourselves. It’s a shame the kind of role models that come on here.

What about demonstrating humility? What about reading the players to persevere? What about teaching the kids to worry about what they can control such as playing with grit, working hard, and being a great teammate.

It’s so unfortunate that after a hard caught win, some need to resort to insults against Coach York.

I don’t know him but what I do know is he’s a coach and coaches put a lot of time in to help kids. That’s a lot more than probably 99% of the people on here do.

For 95% of the season, many Kahuku supporters are quiet on this blog.

You win, and some start to chirp. What kind of example does that set for the kids? It’s really Embarrassing that some would resort to these kind of childish acts. You really make a fine community like Kahuku and Laie look like infants.

And if football is all you have to live for, it’s pretty sad.

I’d like to congratulate both teams, their coaches, and supporters who know how to act their age and set great examples for a football game that was played with a lot of intensity and heart last night.

One play was the difference between these two teams. Great matchup and hopefully, rivalry going forward.

Great efforts and it’s awesome to witness Hawai’i schools playing hard defense in a time where 30 to 50 points scored per team is becoming the norm.

STL still needs to beat Pun next week in order to claim it’s own spot in the tourney. Pun isn’t a cake walk by any means and STL should know that.

Never know though, not out of the realm, things change. BG probably has a few QB recruits. Depends how good he thinks he is and/or if he wants to stay home. Best of luck either way.

@IDGAF – Uh… unless that kick off return was planned we would have been on the wrong end of this game. Give credit where it’s deserved. #24 and the defense.

@MiliLouis – Uh… what you watching? One kid breaks 8 tackles and all of a sudden we have a good coach now? Where was #24 this whole season? Varsity bench. Why?

Hats off to Mililani, the game could have gone either way. Happy for my Red Raiders. Lets rest up and work on some plays and discipline. StLouis is too good if we make mistakes.

Go BIG RED.

This public school recruiting needs to stop. Give the Asian kids in Mililani a chance to play for their hometown. I remember when Rich Miano did this in Hawaii Kai, the community ran him out of town.
