There are people in Aiea that think differently. Coach Say is a wonderful man but some in the community think that there may not be enough emphasis on winning or lack of it being a priority.

I use to see Wendell Say in Family Court (he’s a counselor at Aiea HS) accompanying troubled youths (not football players). Wendell Look is an AD at Iolani who is more concerned about his player’s character and their academic standing than his team’s won/loss record. If you ever gave these guys Kahuku or STL talent, they’d never lose, but on the other hand, winning football games isn’t their only priority?
