Sorry but that’s the agreement they made between ILH and the OIA. They only have 3 teams in ILH versus 6 teams of OIA. Punahou beat all of them but they already know who they gotta really beat is ST Louis to make the states. Put up more teams in the Open than that definitely has to happen. It’s the same as last year and nothing changed, so back to trying to beat the Top..The Crusaders!!

these guys on here dont know lol. put it this way , at the end of the state tournament after its all said and done and saint louis reclaims the crown, punahou will still be ranked #2. So why even have a ranking system, for the media to rank them # 2 even now , something is wrong. Whats even more embarrassing is , lets say farrington did upset campbell, now this is where it get even more outrageous,
Farrington would of been a 3-8 team playing in the state semi finals. I mean cmon guys, whats wrong with that picture? Punahou, you got nutn to be ashamed about because out of the 4 teams in the state tournament, you beat 3 of em lol. Aole

How is it even interesting? How many times does campbell have to get blown out before they’re done? They shouldn’t even be in states based off their regular season, not to mention punahou beat all 3 of the OIA teams as well. I’m not biased to ILH but it seems that OIA always has the odds stacked for them and Spectrum TV along with whoever is covering every game, always saying the worst OIA teams have great players. I bet this Friday they’ll say Campbell has an explosive and great team with top players in the state.

It should be a great game with both teams up to par with it’s players recovering from their injuries.

I think that it will be a great game and defense will be the key to the results of this battle. Kahuku’s ground and pound offense vs. Campbell’s air game, it’s going to be interesting.

However, defense will determine the outcome of the game. We also know who has a great defense. GO BIG RED!
