From Colt’s experience, I think the Heisman and the NFL work with Big Name Colleges in promoting and keeping those graduates on their active roster. If talent comes from unknown colleges like the U.H. then Big Name Colleges will not be able to attract talent. Colt came from Saddleback college and for all his accolades, he wasn’t kept active. The same with Rolovich, and Lele. That’s how things work in this country, they give you some so so talent, tell you that they are great and after a while you’ll come to believe it. Sad isn’t it!

It’s not the fact that he got cut, he had his career cut short due to a brain injury from a car accident. He was told to not risk actually playing football again.

No my braddah, Colt was an assistant at Kahuku back in the 70’s a lot has changed since then and now he is coaching at Moanalua.

What is Colt Brennan doing for a living now?
I think he was a part-time volunteer coach at Kahuku High. Not a full-time paid coach.
