Except for one thing: one of the hurdles for Leeward or Central Oahu players on the Pac-Five team is the commute after school. Similar problem would exist for a combined team from the charter and Immersion schools. The easier solution would be to fold the Anuenue players into Kaimuki’s program, which is what happens all over the state. Hilo had an all-state basketball player some years back who was from an Immersion school in the district.

Hopefully, Anuenue won’t have to go to those measures.

They should also look at combining the talent of all of the DOE Charter Schools to make one team. PAC 5 is an example.
