Kahuku needs to stop complaining. The last 2 years they could have easily won, but it was bad coaching. They still have the talent, they just need to get a good staff together. The year Tua was a senior, Kahuku actually had a good chance. Even last year with Sol Jay, Kahuku had the game in the bag. Then Coaching mishaps of not emphasizing to the kids to STAY IN-BOUNDS!!! Kahuku could have easily run the clock out.

So please Kahuku don’t fall into the recruiting BS. Kahuku doesn’t need it. Fix your admin and your coaching. Plain and simple. Maybe kids leave cause they don’t want to play for the coaches or the admin. I remember when Siuaki was coaching they used to field a minimum of 70players every year. So go figure.

Facts are facts but when you’re losing, the facts sound like excuses!!! LOL

Now Kahuku has downgraded from Reload to Rebuild LOL. And it looks like that’s what it’s gonna be for the next 10 years. So sad! Why hasn’t their admin hit the road yet? Specifically their A.D.? Yikes!!!

Head Coach RON LEE won at Kaiser NOT Cal !! and yes they had recruits and also got their main man Boyd Yap to transfer back from Kamehameha to Kaiser.

i know for a fact Mililani has a coach who drop off players who don’t live in Mililani. As for Campbell those players who transferred from kahuku. DJ still lives in Punaluu.

How does a DOE school, ask taxpayers to fund 20 more students position because of DE status? And to assist families can siblings hop on the bandwagon so mom doesn’t drive all over the place?

Nothing will ever be totally fair with or without the merger. Does it need to be where every school has a cap on the number of players, coaches, staff, etc. ? Accept the fact, move forward and work to improve. Let’s not forget that the program is for the kids. Let them be safe and have fun.

Mililani and Campbell already recruiting. York and DJ are year around scouting for players to improve their rosters. As for the kapolei,Farrington and Waianae they have the roster to compete. Just need to develope a QB through the JPS league and keep him from getting recruited by other schools. Easier said then done once Cal Lee or other private schools come knocking…
