In answer to your question Samoanstuntsman, the rankings are determined by a vote of about 14 in the sports media from across the state. could be a few blind voters (not sure, Fauese). However, many of them could be voting on what they saw when Mililani scrimmaged Kahuku. The score was kept and Mililani won. Yes, it was only a scrimmage, but still some evidence to base a vote on. Until a team shows it can stop Mililani’s offense, I will personally vote them No. 1 (and I’m not blind in the literal sense). Sure, Kahuku and other teams have a chance to stop them. Punahou has scored 98 points and given up seven in two games. Saint Louis has wins over the American Samoa champion and a powerhouse team from Nevada. Kahuku has been impressive in wins over four teams with a combined 1-13 record: Campbell (0-3), Kapolei (1-3), Kaiser (0-3) and McKinley (0-4). Also, Mililani is ranked No. 10 in the MaxPreps national rankings. Punahou and Saint Louis are in the top 100 and Kahuku is in the top 125. So, I don’t think we’re off base if you look at the facts. LMK if you agree.

But scored 179 pts. Mililani got scored on several times by all the teams they played and St. Louis has yet to play a conference game.
How are these Power Rankings determined?
