I know, ALL ILH schools recruit. I don’t have a problem with recruiting a few players to make your team competitive. The problems I have is with the excessive recruiting St Lulu does. It destroys the competitive balance. I went to every Prep Bowl from 1987 to 1997. It was like going to a funeral. No excitement before the game. Everyone knew St Lulu was going to blow out whoever the opponent was.

Ornellas and Olevao were absolute Monstahs!!! Even though he played for the Crusaders, Ornellas was exciting to watch.

It doesn’t matter where they came from. Saint Louis is the best. And not all the starters or players came from Kahuku. Go Crusaders

Saint Louis was at its peak for recruiting.. .Athletes from all over the Island on one team..Yes,probably the Best team assimilated..Just shows us how incredibly talented those kids from the North Shore is.

1994 Kahuku might have been one of the best teams never to win a state championship. Unfortunately, they ran into what might’ve been the best St. Louis team of all time.
