Travis McKay was a legend. ’88 was da year. Travis brought da bulldogs back 2 da spotlight. Not only was he da man that year at qb. The best athlete. Good pool playah too. @kaimuki cue (waialae) he used to run da tables. Also good basketball player too (across da street @kaimuki district). Da ladies loved him. Sweet Trav they called him.

Same reason it would be crazy if no one from
St Louis made it; they are football power houses

Just wondering why it’s crazy that nobody from Kahuku made it on the Star Bulletin? Maybe kids from Kaimuki and Farrington were just better then the kids from Kahuku that year! Again I’m just referring to that 88 football year! Ever since that year, Kahuku has had lots of kids on the allstars for both papers! They might have more then St. Louis.

???- sometimes it happens! Kahuku struggled in 88. Farrington and Kaimuki were loaded that year. Star-Bulletin was right with the selections. Mark Atuaia, Itula Mili were only sophomores for Kahuku. (Young team) 89 is when they had lots of All Stars.
