Coach Gibbons and staff led the 7 to 11 year olds to undefeated season with opponents unable to score – except one team scored 6 points, the only TD that season against the Packers.
I there any record of this team ?

I was 7 years old, and the team mascot. I have only one team photo and short history of the 1962 season.

In May 1962, I was the Mckinley high school drill team commander. The Advertiser came and took my picture and it was printed in May 1962. I sure would like to get a copy of that page.

His daughter Heidi started Punchbowl Basketball Club, granddaughter also coaches boys volleyball at St Francis, son Hunter continues to play and lives in Hollywood and daughter Hoku is an athletic director for Pahoa high school. Thank you for sharing this awesome memory!!
