About a month ago, I received a high school picture that was taken in April 1962. The Honolulu Advertiser photographer came to Mckinley High school on a Saturday and supposed to have taken the “whole drill team picture.” But when the Sunday morning Advertiser was printed, it only showed Just me and a few person. Obviously others in the drill team was disappointed because they voluntered to come on a Saturday to have our picture taken and published the next morning Advertiser.
The Advertiser photographer took a few extra pictures of the whole drill team on April 1962. But obviously the Advertiser Editor had to cut the picture to make space for that page I presume.
If the Advertiser photographer department have kept these other pictures, oh!!! please let me know. I sure want to have a copy of them
