He was playing at Cal, not riding the bench. But he to totally remake his game from what he did at Punahou. He had to convert to an under the coverage receiver, no can break free past the popolo safeties.

The 4 players from Mililani have little chance of being named “Player of the Year” but its nice that they are mentioned. The bigger issue is that STL, Kahuku and Mililani continue to produce the most talented players. This says a bit about the R word (recruiting) but more about the commitment of these 3 programs to help their players play at the next level. Many schools including the other top programs in the OIA and ILH don’t or won’t assist their players with college opportunities. Ask around to verify, you’ll be surprised and disappointed at some of “legendary coaches”.
