In reply to Drew abe. Yea, imkanaka, I can finally make drops. If I can get MIL before the seeding meeting, I would like to do it before. But I will do it after if I have to. After a quick look, not watching the ILH for the last month hurt me. We're learning.

Ah, that’s an easy explanation, Hawaii_wrestlers. I am a moron and didn’t retype the rankings from my spreadsheet onto this page, only the comments. I put Sana in at No. 7, I am not ready to put her over Alviar and Rivera yet even though she finished higher than them in the West. Gonna be a battle here this weekend at Leilehua, that’s for sure.

Looking at what I’ve got for 97, it seems to be heavy on Paani results, where GOnsalves was first over Imai with Navarro third.

Here is 2-4:

2. Gonsalves: second at states last year, won Paani
3. Imai: Third at Officials, second at Paani
4. Navarro: won MIT, fourth at Officials and second at Paani.

That makes sense to me. This is the first run and I have made some mistakes, but am having fun doing them. January was way more of a challenge than I thought, but I figure I will have that fixed for next year somehow.

I don’t like that I know and you know that girls like Gonsalves are not here any more, but I am pretty firm on not taking people out unless I am absolutely sure. And that would take either me seeing it with my own eyes (not likely given my inactivity) or two people telling me so. It’s kind of a newspaper guy thing.

Explanation behind the 2-4 places for 97? Punahou and Lahainas rankings in MIT/ILH tournaments perhaps. Also Gonzalves hasn’t wrestled at 97 since McKinley and isn’t planning on it.
