In reply to Mark B.. I believe the transfer rule applies only to Public School-to-Public School movement. Any student-athlete who leaves a private school can compete immediately for a public school.

How she skirted the transfer rule is still a mystery. The new transfer rule does not allow you to compete in a sport that you were previously doing at the former school for a period of 1 year. This sounds like BS and I’ll give the OIA a call to better understand what took place here.

As fas as her skill level, she’s won many national tournaments with the latest being the 2015 Fargo Junior national championships. She took 2nd in cadets at the same tournament. It should have been 1st place but the refs really ripped her off.

Her loss to Pearl City at states last year was due to a lack of confidence in her shoulder surgery.

She’s not attending school at Kahuku therefore I hardly see that as “returning to her roots” regarding school. Nonetheless, does anybody know if she is nationally as good as her sister? We heard about Teshya from a very young age doing great things on the national stage…just wondering if younger sis is as good nationally. She will dominate local wrestling just like her sister.
