More than 60 student-athletes from the state of Hawaii put their names in writing, signing their national letters of intent with colleges across the country at a ceremony this morning at the Sheraton Waikiki.
We will have stories posted throughout the day on various athletes. For now, here is a complete list of student-athletes who participated in the ceremony. Not all athletes signed with Division I schools but instead participated in the ceremony to celebrate their achievements in playing sports at the next level.

How does someone sign with orange coast when it’s a Cali juco which means no letter of intent?
you still have to sign a letter to accept the offer to play! let the kids have thier momment. no need neg comments!
@buya. Lol no you don’t. There isn’t a letter of intent for Cali Juco. Know what your talking about before you say something. Typical comment from someone who knows nothing about the process. This whole signing day was set up nation wide for “athletic” national letter of intent. Yes there is some junior colleges that have letter of intent but not California and same goes to Division 3 schools where there is zero money for Athletics. Just stating facts.

This Hawaii signing is for the kids. I know for a fact that some of these kids who signed are walk ons and a lot of players at D3 schools. They create a National Letter for them to sign. It’s not a binding one but schools can create and send a letter so that the kids can go through the ceremony. Congrats to all the kids signing today. At least they all will have a chance to further their education and play sports at the next level.

@ College Insider is correct. There is no official offer to play at a JC or CC.
@mobamba nails it. This ceremony is a indication of the times we live now that “include everybody.” If you follow sports and the recognize names of the local kids, you know which of these are legit D1 signings. But yeah, they are all going college one way or another so congrats to all.
