Unfortunately they don’t record quarter final games, which is a mistake. Some of the best games in the boys and girls soccer tournaments happen in the quarters. If the tournament were four days straight like previously, you would think the ranked teams with the first-day bye would have the advantage. But that’s not necessarily true. The past few years have shown that a good unranked team who had to play on day 1, comes in strong on day 2 against a ranked team that’s “cold”. Just an observation…

Got to agree. That game was something else. I don’t think there will be a more exciting game the rest of the tournament.

Too bad HHSAA doesn’t seed tournaments properly so this would be a Semi-Final or Final. It’s a shame to see two of the best teams meet in a quarterfinal.
