Who care if the kids got recruited. Give the coaches who recruited them credit for putting in the time. And if the school who recruited them didn’t have something good to offer them, do you really think their parents would send them there.

We should be happy that kids have opportunities. I have learned that when people complain about recruiting, it often stems from jealousy.

I have blatantly seen girls that begin to have hype surrounding them around middle school from OIA and other ILH schools for sports get plucked by Iolani school (and the two others). I refuse to believe that volleyball is exempt from that. It happened to my own family, too. I had a relative attending Mid-Pac who was building a name for herself for bball at MPI and lo and behold, mysteriously, she ends up at ‘Iolani prior to the start of her freshman year.

Well, my niece and a few others on that list started in kindergarten, so don’t think the tentacles were out then.
It’s so easy to go that route, Notes, but Iolani girls volleyball does NOT recruit.

Imagine where these athletes would be had not the ILH used their tentacles to grab them into their schools
