All the while those who were not fortunate to be recruited never get any type of news coverage . Even though they are in fact equally talented players and in some cases better but you would never know it because you don’t come from a well known family. It’s always the same couple of players week after week. There’s more talent out there then everyone realizes in the OIA. Hawaii Prep World, Star Advertiser, and Scoring Love need to go outside there go to ILH players and teams and see who else is out there who is just as deserving to be talked about. OIA players rarely get there stats posted because scoring live rarely attends there games. As a result you have truely better players but unaware tonit because they’re stats are not being published.

And yet ILH loses to Konawaena and/or Lahainaluna in girls basketball every year. Maybe it’s something more than just recruiting that’s the problem with OIA schools.

You can easily tell if the ILH is stealing players from the OIA. Just look at the gap between the top ILH volleyball teams and the OIA teams. That tells you there is serious recruiting going in in wahine volleyball. Who even knows the last time an OIA school played for the state volleyball championship. Boys or girls. You know Iolani is going after top volleyball players. Looks like they have conceded football to St Lulu, and they are focusing on volleyball and basketball.
