Do you sit in at all their practices and meetings and warmups? That’s goes for every team out there. Do you know what the coaches tell their kids? Or do u just watch certain coaches? Looks like u only got something against one coach in particular. If you don’t agree go ahead and apply for the job. Maybe they can meet ur standards if ur the coach. Go talk to the head of the school and let them know you’d like to apply, or do u not meet the qualifications? There’s always going to be critics of every team, coach and player

i dont know much about the coaches but i do know that iolani coach is doing something right.

Based on? Winning?

It aint winning unless you do it the right way. Everyone has a way of motivating players, true, but the good ones know how to do it and be a good role model at the same time.

I hope the best for the team, like I mentioned in my first post, I think that they are super talented. Its just disheartening to see them behave the way they do, especially when it seems to be the culture the coaches are promoting.

I look forward to seeing them as 1 of the 3 ILH representative in the State Tourney.

Officially Pau.

So its the coaches, players and parents. What about admin?

They attend the games, they see the behavior, lets put them in too. What about alumni?

They give money to the school to support the athletic programs that are behaving in this manner, lets put them in also.

Ridiculous right?

Just like your question.

Answer me this, why is it okay for the coaches to behave in this manner?

why not blame the parents of the kids than? thats whos raising the kids not the coach. the coach cant be liable for the kids actions and emotions. if a kid gets busted for a fight in school or cheating on a test or anything. are you going to blame the coach? you blame the kid right?

the coach must be doing something right in 3 years to build a team with all underclassmen and now sitting atop the rankings in the preseason. not too mention they dont get all the recruits like mpi, stl and punahou.

I rest my case.

Instead of crying about ragging how bout u worry bout winning? Maybe thats the problem, too busy worrying about the kids feelings getting hurt, get out there and win.

How about you teach your coaches how to coach and be good role models? Thats where the buck stops and we all know that if they aint Police-ing it they condoning it, or in this case leading the charge.

For those who actually go to baseball games, you know who is known for ragging and who isn’t.

you talking about the whole league!! All teams “rag” and then hush outside the diamond, this is the nature of the game and has been going on for decades.
