Aloha SA! Why hasn’t there been any nice write-ups or articles about this young man? Yes, he’s from Hawai’i Island but still, the fact that he is the highest High School Draftee since Kodi Medeiros, it’s pretty crappy we don’t know more about him! I vaguely remember Kekoa Kaluhiokalani and how he had a huge write up when he was selected by the Mariners, in Rd. 2 and turned it down to attend LC State. In a year where barely any Hawai’i talent was selected, this would be a prime slot for our State to learn more about this young man who turned down an offer to WCC foe St. Mary’s to pursue his dream! We barely saw anything regarding K. Medeiros so unless you’re familiar with the Baseball scene, you know nothing about Mr. Medeiros or Mr. Bello! Nonetheless congratulations to him and his `Ohana! We had the liberty of playing against him down at Hilo and I’m excited to see just how far he can go! Of course, when he makes it to “The Show”, all the local news media and publications will be labeling him “Hawaii’s own” as they always do! Good luck Micah! Mahalo to the Brewers Organization who gave our Hawai’i boys lots of opportunities this year in the draft! Imua! *BTW for all you wonderers, I’m from O’ahu, not the Big Isle.

Interesting that he would go higher than KJ….but gets a smaller bonus. Must have a ton of upside to his game.
