I think u are right, i think she is making history as the highest level PITCHER out of Hawaii to not only be an ace for a division 1 but be a huge impact player and ranked nationally!

Joe Kaaekuahiwi, braddah of Troy Kaaekuahiwi. Both starters on Waianae’s Prep Bowl winning teams in 1977 and 1978. Should have had 3 on a row in 1979. I think I was told they got their own business, moving/shipping household goods.

I lived in FRESNO for almost 10 years and graduated from FRESNO STATE-graduated WAIANAE HS1978…FRESNO CA is not by all means the best place to live but its not the worst…I can take you on a field trip[personally] and show you some nice areas …its high in crime but all big cities in california is like that…sounds like your city has all the angels or that PERFECTION COMES FROM U! YOURSELF!! Im VERY SAD that the WAIANAE GIRL is leaving FS but we all have to move on!! we had a tough year Athletically BUT THE DOG POUND WILL BE BACK & THATS A PROMISE~GO DOGGS

I know quite a few girls go on to play college ball and a good amount represent in D1, but who has been the last ace impact PITCHER at the D1 highest level before dung? Has there been one? She might be making history for Hawaii right now!

Word on the street is many of the kids and parents are turned off by the coach’s style of communicating and instructing. Also the continuous implementing of God is overwhelming some folks. Take that for what it’s worth…..

I seen her pitch against Michigan in the 2017 softball regionals. Fresno pitched her 3 days in a row. Her arm was tired and sore. So Michigan got to her the next time they faced her. She gives everything she has, every pitch. Who would ever want to live in Fresno? Meth capital of the world. Why did she ever chose Fresno out of Kamehameha? Didn’t UH want her?

I give this young lady credit for leaving the island and taking a chance. No one knows her reason for picking Fresno State. Nothing wrong with her selection to go there. She gave her all and now has her own reasons for leaving.

Obviously this young lady and her family felt it was a good decision at the time to move from Hawaii and live in Fresno. I bet you would be doing flips if your kid was offered anything from Fresno State.
