To play ball in CA its 14.0 for every 100K–we have about a million people on O’ahu and we have to be basically be at 2.0 (20 or less) for every 100K. The DOE, HSTA, etc. need to stop slowing gaming this thing and get kids back in school and at least save a spring season for them.

The teachers union keeps saying that schools are not safe and so they should not be on campus is the main reason why sports is not happening at public schools.

My feeling is that the teachers who do not coach and who don’t give a (bleep) about sports will continue to fight to stay at home (cruising?), and make sports disappear for the whole school year at public schools.
