Coach Duke (Eric Kadooka) is the GOAT of coaching in Hawaii Baseball. Didn’t always have the best teams in the ILH, but still won. 7 titles in a row. End of story.

MP coach been there over 30 years and won 4 State Titles a good career. Pun coach won 7 State Titles in like 12 years. Pun had all-stars and some good players,. Over 7 years in a row he won with many different players and not always had the bye, not always ILH champ.

UPDATE: Kadooka “retired” after rumored friction with then Pun AD Garcia who supposedly pressured him to adjust his program to accommodate some outspoken and influential parents whose kids were riding the pine. He then coached Maryknoll for a few years before stepping down after a losing season. Hard to win without the horses. Look at Belichick after Brady left.
