Good in football + basketball. K. Kaluhiokalani (Waianae ’90). Maybe. Think maybe he was only honorable mention basketball. A. Smith (kalaheo) + K. Villa (Kam) didn’t play football. A. Wong (Iolani) never play baseball. Looking 4 all state baseball guys who starred in football + basketball.

I thought he was the qb @ kaiser. His shoulder pads was too big in hs. He needed smaller pads + gloves or something. He was da athlete he shoulda played qb.

Basketball. Both power dunkers. Actually. I seen. Fletcher + Kahi ( teammates @kam). Fletcher started off w/ warriors before transferring 2 kaiser. In 8th grade he was throwing ally-oop dunks to Kahi. In 9th grade they were teammates on undefeated jv football team. & On -n- on + on + on. Fletch + Jerome were teammates in the minors. Fletch always had good stuff (low e.r.a.)- but never did wanna grow up. Lots of off da field issues w/him. Jus’ like his boy Darryl Freeman (pro skateboarder)– grew up 2gether in Kaimuki. Carpooled to Kaiser.

Cougars pitcher Fletcher Lee. Pitched all 3 games. 7 innings vs Waianae (win). 1 inning vs Kailua (win). 7 innings vs Pearl City (win). He wasn’t just a good pitcher. Outfielder too. Had a cannon arm. Good range. Quick. Could hit 500ft bombs as a hitter. Very underrated 4 sport athlete. 3 weeks before 93 baseball state tournament. OIA Track n field. He won 1st place highjump 6’2″. Good basketball player too. Street baller. Could dunk a basketball. 6 months after 93 baseball state championship he led his OIA football division in sacks. Linebacker. Helped his team to a 9-1 season. Team co-captain. Baseball wasn’t his game. Football was his game.
