It was a win-win situation for Saint Francis to stay down. This state, at least those covering sports, give just as much coverage to D2 as they do to D1 so why not just play down a level and get all the spotlight that your D1 counterparts do? Last year they even gave the Gatorade Award to a SF player over a guy going D1. If SF stayed down and 3-peated, that probably would’ve been the case again this year.
