yeah thats why its good mello stepped down now they he couldnt get them over the hump for 10 years its been mediocredy and moanalua has had arguably the most talent i think with a coach that puts in the effort and builds a program they will forsure get past a ILH team with no problem so once new coach is in mcgruder is back moanalua will dominate,they are already playing comfortable and confident other than confused and held back a change was due for a very long time. If Robinson does have something to do with it i pretty much know the right move will be made,that guy knows his stuff when it comes to basketball that cant be denied.

It doesn’t matter. They lost. Injuries are part of the game. They are not winning. They will make states since the OIA gets 5 berths. But they won’t advance in the tourney unless they can avoid an ILH team. Once they see one, game over. They will be eliminated.

Who care if Robinson has a oowie boo-boo.

Mid Pac is a D2 team.

This is sad!! If Kawachi hires Alan Silva that would be so wrong, makes me wonder if Robinson has something on him. Moanalua needs a coach that has no ties to a particular child.. I hope he does the right thing and not hire Silva. But we’ll see since Robinson is telling everybody he’s the coach already.

@really they had injury problems that included elijah McGruder not playing and geremy robinson with a bad injury with his hand early in the first quarter and he played a little less then half the game with a hand injury with him basically playing with one hand, so please stop talking about the boys without knowing the situations.

Moanalua lost to Mid Pacific, a D2 team. They aren’t winning anything. And some kids on the team aren’t as good as they think.

This is the trend now. If you not happy with how your kid doing, blame da coach and maybe you can take over da team. This is going on at other OIA schools. If you like coach your kid’s team, just grumble, grumble, grumble and talk bad about the coach, you may get your shot because the admin will side with the parents most of the time because they looking to cover their own butt. Mello is a great coach and a better person. Most parents had no issues with him, but when the admin supports the grumbling parents and not da coach, lose money! Boo for the administration.

Moanalua isn’t winning. They might win OIA again. But they are not beating Kamehameha, Punahou, Maryknoll, or whoever comes out of the ILH in states.

The team misses Sugiura more than they know.
