Wow, calling out people by name, but leaving out the name of Hawaii ref. People should know the quality of ref they hired, especially at a school like Iolani. This guy has no business on the court. Telling kids “they suck” and “team was better with Bol Bol”. If your gonna call people out by name, then let’s keep it real!

It sounds like the referee was out of line and had “rabbit ears.” That’s shameful and embarrassing for Hawaii. Word of this is going to spread and prevent teams from traveling to the islands for games.

This article names the player and coach involved from Mater Dei, but not the ref. Under the circumstances, I think the ref should be called out by name too.
