Are those 20-point games you speak of the ones that came against one of the weakest OIA teams in the field who finished12th place and a BIIF Division 2 team who finished 14th? I mean, heck, a Campbell kid averaged better than him and he had two 22-pt games (one against #1 Mt. Verde), and another 13 & 16-pt outing. He was left off the all-tournament.

There needs to be some context to who these kids are scoring 20+ games against. That’s why this state gives awards like the Gatorade to D2 players because all we people care about is how many 20+ pt games did a kid have regardless of who the competition was.

Loca1boianonymous, that 11th place team player you are referring to had 2-20 point games for total of 66 in four games????

They really water down the “All-Tourney Team” list every year by putting some players on who didn’t do much. For instance, how does someone from the 11th placed team that went 2-2 even get anyone on over players whose teams finished better?
