As “far superior” as those teams may be, they are not invinicble. ILH bottom feeders Kamehameha showed us there is a way to beat Maryknoll and Saint Louis came awfully close to beating Punahou before St Francis eventually did. I remember in 2017, St Louis knocked out Maryknoll in the opening round game of the ILH tourney. Good, yes, unbeatable, no.

No disrespect to Iolani because they are a good team, but they have no chance against the height and athleticism of Maryknoll and Punahou, especially when their starters are playing on fumes in the 4th quarter. Only chance Iolani has is better resource management and coming up with some unexpected plays like girls volleyball did to beat Kam in states.
