Are you serious? No team has EVER recruited more than Brandyn Akana’s Kahuku teams. If they played last season, you would’ve probably witnessed another top recruit coming to Kahuku from IMG Academy. Not 1 ILH team recruits more than this coach and the whole state knows it!! You trying to tell me the ILH didn’t fear 2016 Kahuku team? Fotu, Avea, Villa, Ah hoy, Savau, etc…

Kalaheo also recruited for years Coach Pete and Alika…..they had kids coming from Ewa Beach. Please stop pretending the OIA doesn’t recruit. Mililani and Campbell is full of athletes not from those areas! Especially in football.

His ability to control pace and tempo is a problem for OIA foes. Teammates Roscoe Eddins, Ethan Kunz and Reese Matsukawa compliment each other’s skill set. The W against Kahuku came without floor general Eddins btw.

Across town at Kalaheo, Ehu Schenk-Lee is carrying quite a load. Would’ve been something if Schenk-Lee joined forces with his club teammates at Kailua, which almost happened.

If you can recruit any kid you want in the state, WHY would an ILH team fear an OIA team?

Right back Red Raiders, use this set back as inspo for a major comeback!

OIA playoffs and states are right around the corner. One game at a time, fearless attitude and gritty play.

Remember, defense wins championships, so let’s suffocate the oppo, lol! Here we go!
