50% of kids from Waialae to Hawaii Kai attend private schools like Punahou, Iolani, kam, and St. louis its always been that way.
Waianae 10%, Kahuku 14%, Kaneohe 18%, Kailua, 24%, Waimanalo 14%, Mililani 27%, etc… But Kalani/ Kaiser district gets half there kids going to private schools.
If you played Football, basketball or baseball in the OIA/ILH prior to 1999 you’re not a panty.
One thing thats changed from the pre- 2000s is that when someone falls down while playing or gets shook-up they stay on the ground babying themselves, then 3 trainers come out making a big scene. Eh bra you fall down, get your @ss up and outta there so the game can continue!

Every district has kids who go to private schools and if they stayed home then their home school would be more talented. There are also kids who prefer to relax at the beach while others prefer to participate in an extra curricular activity such as music, art, dance, or sports. This happens everywhere and is not only happening to one community.
