There’s a story on Marcus at ESPN.com today. Have known of him in MACtion, but this is the first I’ve heard he played up the street from here (GoMenes). MaxPreps shows he avg’d 8.7 ppg as a freshman, and was 2nd team all-OIA East. I’ll be interested in seeing him and the Chipps when I attend the MAC tourney in Believeland in March. #GoZips

In reply to Education First. Yes, in this case, the numbers are phenomenal and they don't lie. I think the TO number is related to his high usage and minutes played. He's well over 30 minutes per game, so I'd be OK with 3.7. Could be better, but what a season he's having. His efficiency last week was incredible. So good on the pick/roll. Knows his angles, uses the glass a lot. Fun to watch, on video anyway. That's as close as I can get.

Just did a google search on this young man:

He is shooting 53% from the field; 43% from 3; 83% from the FT Line.

He is averaging 30.4 ppg playing 34.2 minutes (out of 40 minutes per game). He is also averaging 4.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. The only thing is he is also averaging about 3.7 turnovers again. He got to drop that to under 2 a game.

But he is a bad man. Good luck to him. Hopefully he can make it to the league.
